Eosin Hill
Eosin Hill () is a hill, high, rising southeast of Dartmouth Point in Cumberland East Bay, South Georgia. It was roughly surveyed by the Swedish Antarctic Expedition, 1901–04, under Otto Nordenskiöld. It was named by the Falkland Islands Dependencies Survey (FIDS) following their sketch survey in 1951, after the red dye eosin; the name is one of a group in the vicinity of Dartmouth Point derived from the chemical stains used in the preparation for histological examination of biological material collected there by FIDS.〔 == References ==
